If you are looking for a way to stop thumb sucking in 4 weeks or less, without causing pain or discomfort, then look no further. Most parents see results after only ONE week of using ThumbGuard™, making it one of the most recommended solutions to break the habit.
Please note: Most children switch from one thumb to the other, when you apply the TGuard. For that reason, we recommend purchasing two treatment kits, one for each hand.
Treatment for each hand includes:
- 1 Ambidextrous ThumbGuard™ appliance
- 30 bracelets: fun to wear, and multi-coloured, so children can choose a new colour every day!
- 1 Instalock – makes the fitting process as easy as possible!
- Reward chart + stickers
- One set of instructions

- 1 Instalock – makes the fitting process as easy as possible!

Sizing Chart
SIZING CHART | Age: 3 to 4 (under 18 kg) | Age: 5 to 6 (between 18 kg – 25 kg) | Age: 7+ (more than 25 kg) |
Recommended Appliance Size | Small (discontinued – replaced by TGuard Aerothumb) | Medium | Large |
If your child is in between sizes, such as a child who weighs around 18 kg, or is 4.5 years old, order a smaller size if the child is taller / thinner than an average child of their age, or order a larger size if the child is shorter / heavier than an average child of their age.
Please know that children under 3 are more likely to switch from thumb to finger sucking, or vice-versa, due to their habit not being fully matured. If you see that the child switches from thumb to finger sucking, you must contact us.

Christine –
The thumbguards have worked very well for my 3 year old daughter. She’d been sucking her thumb since 3 months old, just at night, in conjunction with her bunny. We let Bunny disappear accidentally on purpose at a kids party and put the TGs on before bedtime. Faked a phone call to the mum at the party so we would not be blamed for the loss. Daughter did not mind the TGs at all and did not ask for Bunny again. However she tried to grab other cuddlies of same size, which we all let disappear. She’s only taken a mini doggy to bed but not in size to be had together with thumb. Used TGs for 3 weeks all day and night with exception of her having them off for an hour or two between daycare and bed. On second and third weekend we observed her during day and nap and she did not make attempts of sucking again. We used TGs on both hands to make sure she would not swap hands. It was totally worth investing the money. She’s been off sucking for 2 months. So awesome, thank you so much ? ?
